Moving to industrial company

During my Ph. D study, I studied in the Department of the Institution for Metallic Materials in IFW. The research topic is enhancing the thermoelectric performance by powder ALD technique.

I obtained the M. Sc. degree from Shanghai University in 2020, supervised by Prof. Jun Luo. In the master stage, my research topics focus on discovering the high thermoelectric performance for bulk materials with High throughput experimental methods and developing advanced flexible thermoelectric materials and devices. My topic of graduation thesis is High-throughput experimental screening for bulk telluride thermoelectric materials.

I studied in the School of Material science and Engineering of Zhengzhou University and obtained a B.Sc. degree. My topic of graduation thesis is Research on Preparation and Performance of Microporous Thermal Insulation Material.

Hi, I'm Shiyang He. Currently, I moved to an industrial company related to ALD machines in China

I joined Powder Atomic Layer Deposition Group in 2020 as a graduate student and am supervised by  Prof. Dr. Kornelius Nielsch. My current research is focused on thermoelectric material surface modification using the atomic layer deposition method, flexible thermoelectric materials, and the synthesis and development of new thermoelectric materials.

My interests and specialties are quite diverse, spanning physics, electronic engineering, nanotechnology, and material science. 

Many thanks for the previous help and support from lots of friends. I will keep the scientific passion for the development of my career in the industry.

The International Thermoelectric Society (ITS) rewarded the 2022 Graduate Student Awards to me. As the highest reward for graduate students in the thermoelectric field, the number of winners usually is limited blow 3/per year.
